Well, i am back and it is within the month like I said, hahaha, i have been feeling a bit creative the last few nights, i guess new product and pictures will do that for you though. I was asked by Leisa at the LSS Scrapsidaisy to create a few LO's to display in her shop using a few of the new ranges that are coming into the store, and I was very honoured that she asked and jumped at the opportunity, i just hope that she is happy with what I come up with, any way, here are the first two Lo's I did for her using the lovely new Paperie range by Making Memories I have to start on the others yet using the other range by K & Co, but I will post them here when I get them done
So here are my forst couple of pages for Scrapsidaisy

and these are some other LO's I was working on when I posted last time that i said I would share, this one is using the Basic Grey bittersweet range

HAPPY NEW YEAR

HI there, hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and a fabulous New Year.
I have had a lovely New Year's day today, we went out to Harrington this morning for the markets out there, we strolled around the markets for a bit and then went up to the lighthouse at Crowdy head and had some lunch up there, boy it was hot, but it was nice to get out and enjoy some 'family' time together. That is one of my goals for this year, to spend more 'quality' time together doing fun stuff and enjoying being together.
After we came home Hannah had a nap and I got stuck into the scrapping, I was able to finish 2 LO's and almost finish another one, so I was stoked that I was able to get some scrapping done too, any way, hope whoever bothers to come and visist me here still is well and that this new year brings you peace, love, good health and happiness, so onto the pics....

Here is a pic of Hannah and I today

Here is a Canvas I did for my inlaws using the divine BG bittersweet range

This is a Lo using my December kit from Bon's

Here is a LO i did today following some Blind Scrapping instuctions for the Dec CC at Bons, Thanks Sandie for the challenge, I love how this turned out

This is a LO i did today for Bons Dec CC where the criteria was white, back and blue, with bling and using a quote with a 1 word title from within the quote

I may get a chance to finish off the other stuff over the weekend, I hope I can get around to it, anyway, its getting late now so I'm off to bed, I should be back within the month hahaha, thanks for looking, cheers, kylie xxx

Oh I forgot to mention that I WON 1st prize over at White with 1 for December, it was the 1st time i had entered over there too, so I was pretty stoked about that, and I won the monthly kit comp prize over at Bons for my precious gift LO, so I have been pretty blessed with good fortune last month, i still can't believe it and I am over the moon :)

Almost Christmas

Hi there, can't believe it is almost Christmas, where has this year gone??? I won't make excuses for not blogging lately, I really just have been SLACK!!!
I have been doing a bit of scrapping just recently because my mojo went on a big vacation and has only just returned, hahhaa, you know how it is, life and other stuff get in the way of scrapping time too, oh well.
My baby turned 2 last week, i really can't believe it, everyone told me that time flies by so enjoy every minute with them, and now I really know what they were talking about. Hannah is really becoming VERY independent and is talking so well, we have even started toilet training and she is doing fantastic with this, I am so lucky to have a beautiful daughter, ahhh..., anyway enough of that

Here are some LO's I have done recently
This was a LO i did of Hannah, the pics were taken by GOTCHA kids photography

This is my entry for the white with 1 challenge for Decmber, where the criteria was white as the dominant colour, fetive colours and bling- i played around with photoshop on the pic before I got it printed out, i still have so much to learn with photoshop and would LOVE to know how to use it properly

This LO was done using a pic of Hannah on her Birthday at the Wiggles concert in Newcastle, it is using a sketch by Charmane Koch

SO SLACK AT Blogging :(

Yeah well I didn't do as I said I would and keep my blog updated, but, you all know how it is, time just flies by atm!!!! To all of you who still bother to check out my blog, thanks for dropping by, i do appreciated all the comments :)

In the past couple of months I have been to Brisbane and Melbourne and had a local show to go to as well, so the cattle are keeping me pretty busy.

I have had time to do some scrapping though, it keeps me sane and i miss scrapping when I don't get to do it at least once a week, so i do have a few LO's to share!!

This one is using the divine new BG Urban Praire, the pic was taken at Melbourne Zoo when we were down there at the end of September

This is using the MM animal crakers range, I also used recycled cardboard on this, I can't believe that my DD is almost 2, where has that time gone

This is using new Bella and some Sassrafras, it is of my DD and my neice

This is a scraplift of a LO that I did, using different papers, I LOVed the original LO by the Aussie Scrap Source designer Nicole Finlayson and I hope she does not mind me using her ideas, i did change it a bit though too

This is a LO I did as part of being Designer of the Month for a LSS, I felt so honoured being asked to be the designer of the month, and of course I said yes as it was a great opportunity to used new products and meet other local scrappers

I also enterted some LO's in the local show last weekend and I was fortunate enough to win a 3rd place for my LO titled "Me at 21" pictured in the post below, so that was pretty AWESOME, and unexpected but on even bigger news.......

I got my FIRST EVER LO ACCEPTED to a magazine to be PUBLISHED!!!!! Scrapbook Creations has accepted one of my LO's for issue 64 in their reflections gallery, so my DD is going to have her face in a Mag!!! I was pretty excited and i thought they must not have wanted my LO because it was well over a month that I submitted it to them (I worked up the courage to submit after a local lady got accepted to a mag recently and I thought, what the heck, i will never know if I don't try!!!) I am so glad I submitted it now, and I am still in shock!!! It is an older LO too, and really not one of my Faves, but I am stoked never the less!!!

Hope to get back on here and update within the next month as I do have other things to share which I am yet to photograph

Thanks for taking the time to look, Cheers, Kylie xxx

AN UPDATE FINALLY!!!!!

HI there, its been sooooo long since I have updated this blog, its a wonder anyone still comes to check it out, thanks to those of you who still take the time to pop by, i will try and update the blog at least once a week from now on (at least that's the plan, lol). Anyway, i really haven't done all that many pages's since I last updated, but I will share some of them with you here now, thanks again, cheers, Kylie xxx

This LO is using some of the Making Memories noteworthy I & II ranges, and my NEW threading water punch, which I LOVE, such a great purchase!!!

This is using the new Basic Grey Euphoria range and I have also used my threading water punch and sewn beads throught the holes and gathered it up. It is my entry for this months 123 Challenge the criteria was that you had to used a portrait of yourself, lots of bling, and at least 5 differnent colours

This one is of my DD, she LOVES her dolls at the moment and they are ALL her babies, I think it is just way too cute, she has to cuddle my porceline doll that sits on my bed every morning, she comes in sits down on the floor and asks for her 'bubba' I couldn't resist taking these pics of her LOVING the baby!

This one is using a Scrapsidaisy kit designed by Sharon Sanna exclusively for Scrapsidaisy, i have changed it a bit but it is mostly the same as the original kit, i used the words from Shania Twain's song as the journalling because Sharon had used 'Still the One" as the title in the original LO.

This LO is my version of a online class I did with Charmane Koch, i LOVE her work and just had to have a go at one of her classes, I am happy with how it turned out, even though I have used different papers than her for my page, it still looks pretty much how her original class LO did, and I got the Buzz and Bloom house and Bird LOve heart from her, I just watercoloured them in with my pencils and them used DM on top!!

I have more LO's but I will save them for another post, cheers, Kylie

More Lo's to Share

Here are the other LO's that I have done recently that I finally got around to photographing! Thanks for taking the time to look, cheers, Kylie
This Lo is using up some of my paper from my stash, but I couldn't help to add an embellishment from the MM noteworthy II collection! And some felt MM Alphas

I finally used some of my yummy October Afternoon papers for this page, I think sepia pics work really well with this range

This is DH and DD on their first geocaching expedition!! I Used the new K & Co paper for the background and threaded some raffia through the border. I have also used some Dream Street Papers for this LO, and made my own journally spot using a stamp on clear transparency

This is the latest LO I did on Saturday, its for 123 Cybercrop challenge, I used my new MM flocking kit for this one too, and made my own butterfly and journal spot using a stamp with stazon on transparency.
